HOSTS JESSE PENNER AND ANDREW DYCK

Discussion Questions

  1. Later in this episode Dr. Franklin comments that “when we think about community, Christians often want to jump straight to the New Testament and think about the church.” He says there, what Jesse and Andrew say here, that we need to start with Genesis. What might we get wrong if we don’t start at the beginning?

  2. If we didn’t have access to Genesis 1 to 3 at all and didn’t know what the design was supposed to be, what would our worldview likely be? What kind of mistakes would we be likely to make about the nature of humanity, the nature of God, the nature of sin, the relationships between creation, God and humanity if we had the rest of the Bible but not Genesis 1-3?
