Dr. Mandryk points back to the beginning of the chapter and emphasizes the filling of the Holy Spirit who “leads and guides and inspires us and fills, especially those of us who are preachers.” Do you think there are different levels of Holy Spirit filling for using different gifts? For some people more than others?
Kara says that most of the chapter applies to the church today, (repentance, baptism and changed life) but says she struggles with the verses Jesse and Andrew focus on. She wonders if it would be easier if it was a command. Do you think that would make it easier for you?
